BIO HAZZARD RELEASE…………
Northwest Region, Section 12, GRID 18…
U.S. ARMY Special OPS Research, Development and Training. (SORDT)
Bio Agent “22” (experimental, classified top secret) has been released into the air through a suspected act of terrorism. (terrorists believed to be killed in explosion) Military personnel inside the base reported an explosion inside or near lab 7.
Information on “Agent 22”:
Highly toxic biological agent that once released into the air can infect anyone breathing it. Once infected the agent has a 20-30 minute incubation period before the subject becomes contagious. The agent can then be passed on through touch, breath, and human liquids. Subject becomes symptomatic within 48 hours and death occurs within 96 hours of infection.
Area of Effect:
At this time SORDT has invoked an act of self quarantine with all military personnel restricted to base. However several civilian personnel were on base at the time and cannot be accounted for at this time. Included on the list of civilians were several local sheriff and police officials as well as some general populace service workers.
Vaccine Available:
A vaccine through injection has been established as effective and is available ON BASE. However there are only 200 vaccines available with approximately 500 personnel on base. Only the base commander and the two lab facilitators know the location of the vaccine. Vaccine needs to be administered within 24 hours of infection to be effective.
Actionable items:
The ENTIRE GRID will be quarantined and cut off from the outside world. Know one is to be allowed outside the Base, or the nearby township. Once the quarantine is in place it will continue for 10 days before inspections shall commence. If anyone is found trying to leave the quarantined area, the subject or subjects shall be exterminated without question or contact. All electricity is to be cut and all communication shall be electronically jammed. Know one inside the area of effect shall be allowed contact with the outside. If the general populace is made aware of this incident mass panic may spread. And a state of marshal law will be invoked throughout the United States.
GAME INFO:
Team Names:
Alpha (Outside team) vs. Delta (Inside infected team)
Team Uniforms:
Alpha will wear US woodland or DPM woodland only. NO mix n match. (Woodland top and pants)
Delta will wear anything else. (NO WOODLAND TOPS) This should allow for those that have not yet gathered all their gear, and accommodate those that have woodland but want to play the inside forces. (OD is recommended)
Mission Profiles Simple Version:
Delta:
•Mission One: Locate vaccine
o Someone HAS to know where it is
•Mission Two: Establish Outside communications
o Power will need to be restored
•Mission Three: Exit the area (vaccinated only)
o Via any means possible
Alpha:
•Contain the GRID
•Detailed missions will be given at game time. (sorry )
There you have it…
Items you SHOULD bring:
• ORANGE OR RED DEATH RAG
• BARREL PLUG OR COVER
• RADIO
• Water
• Some Snacks
• A great attitude (lets get into our respective roles and have some fun!)
Medic and Hit Rules
• When you are hit, you call "HIT" as normal, but you die in place. You must sit or lay down. Have your death rag clearly visible.
• You may call for the medic when dead, but you cannot relay other information or say anything else while wounded.
• If you remain in place for 5 minutes (your best judgement) and receive no medical attention, you can return to the CP and respawn. You cannot leave for the CP until the 5 minutes is up. (this applies to dead medics too)
• Medics can heal other medics
• 1 field medic per 12 man squad
• Only designated field medics may apply bandages
• Bandages will be supplied by game coordinators
• Non-medic live players can "drag" the wounded to the medic. This requires 1 hand be on the wounded player at all times and both players move at WALKING speed.
• Rules for Medic Role: A bandage must be removed from it's package during the time of healing, it cannot be prepared early. It can only be used once. A player can be healed an infinite amount of times. Once you run out of bandages, you're done, anyone on your team who dies has to sit for 5 minutes and then go to the CP. Only the medic can apply bandages, the medic designation cannot change during game. (but may chance during a break).
So basically, if your medic dies or you run out of bandages, you'll seriously delay your chances at obtaining objectives.
Grenade/203 Rules
Grenade rules are in effect for bunkers and building structures only. The general rule is that if a grenade object lands in the structure that you occupy, you call yourself hit (this means if 4 guys are piled into a small room, they're all dead). Only objects cleared for grenade rules can be used as grenades. This includes NON-METAL grenade replicas, and foam or nerf projectiles fired from M203 launchers. If you have an item that you're not sure would pass for a grenade, show the game coordinator and ask.
Grenades cannot be picked up and thrown back, for purposing of keeping it simple... Once it lands it explodes.
EXPLOSIVE DEVICES AND HOMEMADE PYRO ARE NOT ALLOWED. If you have simulated Airsoft grenades built for Airsoft, please clear them with the game coordinator beforehand. Be prepared to make a demonstration.
Don't be upset if others don't notice your grenade, everyone should try their best to honor these types of kills but sometimes they can go unnoticed during a firefight. This is merely a modified rule to help keep games flowing when structures are heavily fortified.
